A Short Story About Typewriters.
I’ve had another short story published, and I wanted to share it here because I’m very proud of this one.
The story is called O Time Thy Pyramids, and it’s about writer’s block and the struggle that comes when creatives feel like they constantly have to live up to ‘The Greats’ of their chosen art form.
It also features a lot of typewriters, and at least one orangutan.
It’s been featured in the latest issue of Silly Goose Press, which includes art, prose and poetry from some incredibly talented people. Do give the whole thing a read!
This piece was partially inspired by one of my favourite pieces of classical music: Leroy Anderson’s ‘The Typewriter.’ It never fails to put a smile on my face.
